Istanbul Airports

There are two commericial airports that serve Istanbul, Ataturk International Airport and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.

ATATÜRK AIRPORT
Ataturk International Airport is the country`s largest and busiest, receiving scheduled flights from Europe, the Middle East, America, Africa and Asia. The airport is located 25 km (16 miles) west of central Istanbul in Yesilkoy. Airport facilities include VIP and CIP lounge, conference center, banks, post office, baggage service, restaurants and snack bars, tourist information office, shopping facilities, travel agencies, bureaux de change, ATMs, car rental and hotel reservation office. From the Airport, City Center Havas buses depart from in front of the international and domestic terminals at 06:00 and then every 30 minutes until 23:00.
Airport Taxis wait directly outside the front doors of both terminals. Taxis are the quickest and easiest way to get into town taking around 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Topkapı Palace

One of the Turkey’s most famous landmark is Topkapı Palace.And it was repaired by Fatih S.Mehmet and it is located on the promontory of the historical peninsula in İstanbul which overlooks both the Marmara Sea and the Bosphorus.The walls are enclosing the palace grounds,the main gate on the land side and the first buildings were constructed during the time of Fatih S.Mehmet (the Conqueror) (1451-1481) .Topkapı Palace was the official residence of the Ottoman Sultans ,starting with Fatih S.Mehmet until 1856.
